HTML Paragraphs
Create two paragraphs about a hobby and put the meeting address on three lines.
Understand the topic
Use p for a paragraph of related prose. HTML normally collapses repeated whitespace, so several spaces or source line breaks do not create matching gaps on the page. Use separate paragraphs for separate ideas. br is appropriate for line breaks within an address or poem, while hr marks a thematic break between sections of content.
Worked example
<p>Our library opens at nine.</p>
<p>Members may borrow three books.</p>
<hr>
<p>Library desk<br>12 Market Road<br>Accra</p>
Each p forms a paragraph. The address-like lines use br because the line boundaries matter. hr separates the rules from the location information.
Practice

<p>I enjoy photography.</p>
<p>We meet on Saturdays.</p>
<p>Photo club<br>8 Garden Lane<br>Kumasi</p>Common mistake
Do not create layout spacing with repeated br elements or empty paragraphs. Use margin and padding in CSS.
