Unordered Lists
Create a shopping list with a Fruit item containing Mango and Orange.
Understand the topic
An unordered list groups items without ranking or sequence. Its default bullet appearance can change with list-style-type, but its meaning remains a list. A nested list belongs inside the li that it expands. This is useful for navigation groups, materials, and related features where rearranging items would not change the instructions.
Worked example
<ul><li>Frontend<ul><li>HTML</li><li>CSS</li></ul></li><li>Backend</li></ul>
The nested HTML and CSS items are part of Frontend because their ul is inside that li.
Practice
Create a shopping list with a Fruit item containing Mango and Orange.
Show a suggested answer
<ul><li>Fruit<ul><li>Mango</li><li>Orange</li></ul></li></ul>Common mistake
Do not put a nested ul beside its parent li. Place it inside the item it belongs to.
